Maps of Areas Developed by Heiwa Real Estate (Our Achievements)

Here you can find information on redevelopment projects the Group has successfully completed by drawing on the expertise we have acquired through our many years in the building leasing business.
We intend to continue playing a leading role in these community revitalization efforts in major metropolitan areas.

Osaka (Kitahama)

The Kitahama district of Osaka is, like Nihonbashi Kabuto-cho in Tokyo, home to many brokerage firms. When rebuilding the Osaka Exchange, we decided to endow it with symbolism so it would act as the catalyst for Kitahama’s transformation into an even more vibrant neighborhood. The building therefore has a very distinctive design. At the lower level, constructed of imposing masonry, the exterior and part of the interior of the original building are retained to preserve the valuable architectural heritage of the 1930s; the upper floors are embellished with modern-looking glass curtain walls. Other projects came in the wake of the rebuilding the Osaka Securities Exchange Bldg.: the construction of a high-rise condominium, The Kitahama Tower & Plaza, on the site of an old department store; the construction of the Hotel Brighton City Osaka Kitahama (a budget hotel); and the replacement of the annex of Osaka Shoken Kaikan Bldg. with the Heiwa Real Estate Kitahama Bldg. and of the main wing of Osaka Shoken Kaikan Bldg. with the Kitahama 1-Chome Heiwa Bldg. This wave of construction has generated fresh demand, while attracting well-known restaurants and shops to the area, thus creating a create prosperity.

Nagoya (Sakae)

Sakae is the financial heart of Nagoya—the equivalent of Kabuto-cho in Tokyo or Kitahama in Osaka. Here we undertook a series of development projects, rebuilding not only the Stock Exchange Bldg. itself but also the structures adjacent to it.
First, when constructing Nagoya Heiwa Bldg., then next, we erected the new Nagoya Stock Exchange Bldg.
Then came integrated development of the existing stock exchange building and the adjacent structures; these were reincarnated as CentRise Sakae, masterfully designed by, among others, Tadao Ando Architects & Associates, which bristles with the latest energy-saving technology.
On the street where these buildings face, we built the "Maruzen Nagoya Honten Building", well-known stores, including brand names from abroad. We have thus transformed the neighborhood’s appearance and made it even more vibrant than it already was.

Ichiban-cho Redevelopment Project, Sendai

This was the first development project for the Company’s building leasing business in the Tohoku region. The structure was conveniently located on a corner lot where the main road intersects with the shopping arcade next to Sendai Station, famed for its Tanabata Festival decorations. Capitalizing on that location, shops occupy the lower level, the middle floor is occupied by beauty, medical, and other services, and the top floors are used as office floors. we rebuilt it to increase convenience and create prosperity in the neighborhood.
